Hello, this is the creator of vfmania.

I am also one of those who spent their entire teens and twenties buried in Virtua Fighter.
I first encountered and started playing VF at the Express Bus Terminal in middle school, then went through Namyeong-dong, Yangjae Mega Zone, and ended my VF life at Hongdae, Gyodae, and Apgujeong Joy Plaza.
I still vividly remember participating in tournaments and traveling all over the country for team battles.

I forgot about it for a while due to being busy with work, but recently, I happened to see the SBS VF documentary and Seong-hoe's video on YouTube's 'G-sick Encyclopedia,' and seeing the old Joy Plaza again brought back memories.

I searched YouTube and various communities for news of the new game, but it was a bit disappointing to see that information and strategies were fragmented and scattered everywhere, so I decided to create a website.

Using a commercial platform from a large developer that is already on the market would be much faster and have more features, but there were clear limitations in customizing it to capture the unique sensibility and concept of a game community. Even though it takes more time, I wanted to build everything from design to development myself, creating a space that is perfect for our tastes.

I am well aware of the fact that the domestic user base is small, so I created it with globalization in mind from the beginning.

In addition to the site structure, we will soon add a function that automatically translates your valuable posts into English and Japanese, allowing you to communicate with overseas users in real time.

Future plans are

• Ranking System: If SEGA provides data in the future, I would like to implement a function that allows users to check their rankings in real time, like LoL. (Whether or not information is provided is a variable, but I will try to find an alternative in some way.)

• My Page Enhancement: Currently, it is only a simple information display, but I will update it to a custom space where users can express their individuality.

• Interaction Enhancement: I will continue to develop each function meticulously so that you can feel the fun of using the site itself.

I think there will be many shortcomings compared to the completed communities because it is just taking its first steps.
I would appreciate your generous understanding of the gaps that arise from creating everything by myself.
We plan to update it gradually, so please feel free to leave your opinions if you have any necessary functions or ideas.

I hope this space will become a plaza where the precious memories of experts and the pleasant excitement of new users naturally mix.
I hope it will be a warm community where anyone who likes VF can relax.
