On December 2, 2024, a r/GamingLeaksAndRumours post claimed SEGA had taken down an image from Ryan from the Bronx (formerly Midori) over copyright related to a “Snake” project (Virtua Fighter 6).
The poster said they did not know what the image showed.
The tweet was dated August 31, 2024, and the post said SEGA’s copyright action hit a few days before December 2.

TGA, or somewhere else?
The post quoted content creator Colin Lack: sources suggested a possible TGA reveal, but Lack personally thought EVO Japan, Summer Game Fest or EVO Las Vegas were more likely.
Rooflemonger commented on X and in a YouTube video that the image had circulated until about a month earlier, so a SEGA takedown of Midori’s post so close to TGA felt odd.
The thread also pointed back to March Midori leak discussions and Midori’s earlier claim that Virtua Fighter 6 would be presented by year’s end.
What this material does not prove
A copyright takedown is not independent proof of a title’s specs or announce date — it was community speculation about timing.
The Reddit selftext does not claim that SEGA acquired the virtua-fighter.com domain.
